J5 Tactical has come out with a solid light design, water resistant, shock resistant and more importantly works well. On Amazon you can get the 300 lumen model for around $15 which is a great price, especially given that it works very well, has a long lasting battery life and is easy to switch from flood to spotlight mode one handed.
It comes shipped in an nice box, the 300 lumen light uses AA batteries and or rechargeable. The other sizes *which goes up through 935 lumen as well are all quite affordable. The 935 lumen runs $40 shipped on Amazon but can be found from other re-sellers also....
