Prepping for a Major Hurricane (What Have I Overlooked?)

With Irma out in the Atlantic, I have been looking over my supplies. I know I don’t list a lot from week to week. I think that’s because I’ve reached a plateau of prepping—I don’t know what else I can do to prepare. But having watched the devastation in Texas I want to double check.

Here are the steps I have taken. I placed an order with Amazon.com for a water bob. I will pick up another 10 cases of water on Tuesday. I have a 60-gallon water barrel that I will fill up. We also have a Big Berkey.

We have plenty of canned food, MREs, plenty of ways to cook . . . We are on high...
